A foodie? OMGOD I’m a PIG!!! I LOVE to eat! I just now got done looking all over the kitchen for something to eat, couldn’t find anything and had to settle for microwave popcorn even though I’m not a snackie. I Live for Leftovers! I’ll eat anything in sight.
As we speak, I just started making my own creation for dinner tonight: Cauliflower/Potato/Ham soup. I’ll also make liver & onions.
I make my own broth. I have a bone collection in my freezer. I lick every plate clean. I waste nothing and eat what’s left on my kids’ plates.
My eyes are bigger than my stomach when we go out to eat (which isn’t often – that’s probably why!). I eat everything in sight. I’m surprised I’m only 10 lbs overweight. It’s a good thing, because I could eat ALL DAY if it was available. Sometimes I embarass my boyfriend because my plate is always higher than anyone elses.
I’m a foodie, YUP YUP. My picture should be next to the Word FOODIE in the dictionary.
    I am that Girl!!!

Contempt for fake “foodies”—and the fact that I starved for three days prior to Scarpetta so I could indulge.

Fearless foodies find fantasy, phenomena in every foodie feast. Seduction, desire–more than substance, it is visceral.
    I, am a foodie.

A fearless food snob. Cooking is to entertain my husband’s and friends’ craves, be it French, Italian, Indonesian, German, Alsatian.. Eating good local food is always on my no 1 priority during travel – this is when I get ideas to cook new things for my husband and friends.

So much a foodie and a food snob that when I saw a Sandra Lee book was a prize, I decided I didn’t want to win the contest. I would be embarassed if someone saw that in my home.

What makes me a foodie? My fiance and I plan our vacations around our meals. Seriously, we love to eat and eat well. I am obsessed with Next Iron Chef, DDD, Iron Chef America, Down Home with the Neely’s, 5 ingredient fix and all of the food shows on the Food Network that it is my goal to be a cheftestant and to eat at all of the chef’s restaurants. That makes me a foodie!!

I revel in the sensory and cerebral delights of food. I read cookbooks like novels. I relish savoring my own creations, as well as those prepared by cooks, chefs, and friends alike. I follow (and preach) the gospel of adventure into the known and unknown culinary delights! With heightened senses and curiosity, the world is mine to eat.

Foodie is my middle name ever since I was younger I loved food coming from an Italian family food was always important if it wasn’t my grandma cooking it would be going out to restataunts with my aunt and uncle trying different enthic cuisine. As I got older I started to cook and I found it to be one of my passions and now I’m applying to go to culinary school. My mom calls me foodie all the time she was like you always try new things very brave and I believe food is a time to share it with someone or just being creative

Food is the ultimate journey. As a “foodie” I am not ashamed to confess that I am obsessed with everything food related. I search for new recipes and cook books like I am looking for a holy manuscript. Like other people are addicted to fashion magazines, trashy romance novels, sports, or porn… I long for new methods, ingredients I have never heard of techniques I have never tried.
