Food really is glorious. I just came back from my yearly trip home to Japan. My family and I vacationed for a few days in Kyushu a southern region of Japan. I experienced my first “Fugu” (blowfish) meal- blowfish (in its entirety) prepared in as many ways as you can possibly think- pickled, raw, in a stew, in a salad… the list goes on. It was delicious!! Apparently it takes a few years of rigorous training to learn how to prepare Fugu followed by an intense exam which is easier to fail than to pass so you feel pretty safe that you won’t get poisoned! –Tomoko “The Situation” Ogura, Fashion Manager, Womens CO-OP
